CEDAW REVIEW

The periodic report submitted by member states to the CEDAW Committee in Geneva, required every four years, is an instructive tool which can measure the success of the states ability to meet its legally binding obligations to eliminate discrimination against women and bring about equality between women and men.  The recommendations documented in the concluding observations by the Committee and provided to the states provide a blueprint for the state to meet its responsibility.

CCoTT hosted it’s first annual Fun/Walk fundraiser in November 2019 – ‘CHAMPION YOUR RIGHTS – HUMAN RIGHTS! in commemoration of World Human rights Day.  During this inaugural event, instead of receiving medals and trophies, participants were invited to enter our Human Rights space to champion their rights by posting a message and signing the Human Rights wall covering.
